General Tips

This site is intended to be a community project - so please, create yourself an account and start contributing content!
If you just want to chat or add a comment, please do so in the discussion tab.
This site runs on mediawiki. It works in exactly the same way as wikipedia.
Need help with the weird "Wiki text"markup language? Check out the wiki text cheat sheet

If you only have an unverified tip-off (e.g. "from memory, I think company X once used pattern Y") then please add it to the discussion area of the relevant page.
If you have a clear example of an existing dark pattern, then please add it to the relevant page. Please, please provide screen-grabs! (Use the File Upload tool on the left hand side)
If you just want to add a comment or fancy a chat, then use the discussion tab. There's one at the top of every page.
