Definition
When the user’s progress to task completion is restricted or stopped by something else on the screen.
Example: ArcMedia (May 2011)
On first tap of the screen (to bring up the control buttons), the pause button is covered by an advert. This means the user has to tap again, to get rid of the control panel, then again to bring it back without the advert, finally enabling them to pause.
